Today braved the torrential downpours whilst we visited Exeter. We explored the underground passages and how the city got clean water in the Roman times. In the afternoon we had a Red Coat guided tour where we were shown some key parts of history based in Exeter, we looked around the museum which contains hundreds of artefacts and also tried on a Roman helmet (although it was too big for most of us).
We all looked great dressed up as crayons from the book ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. We solved maths word problems based on shape and time as well as writing persuasive opinionated letters in the role of a piece of stationery. In the afternoon, we explored the colour wheel to see how many different colours we could make using the primary colours.
